This three-level architectural statement brings a rare mix of scale, craftsmanship and indulgence to Atherton. Five bedrooms and eight baths anchor the main residence, joined by a fully outfitted two-bedroom ADU. A floating staircase rises through all three floors—though the elevator is there for days when steps feel optional—connecting a sequence of dramatic spaces that include a theater for nine, a lounge with a living plant wall, dual kitchens with Miele appliances and a fitness suite with steam and sauna. Motorized glass walls open the main level to a 56-foot pool with a sheer-descent waterfall, oversized spa and outdoor kitchen, all powered by solar and stored in four Tesla Powerwalls with five EV chargers ready to go. With top-tier schools, Stanford and the Peninsula’s tech hubs nearby, the location is as dialed-in as the home itself.
Vesta Home senior designer Abbie Antonowicz approached the staging with one goal: let the architecture lead. With its sweeping staircase, travertine details and lush living walls, the home already set the tone, so she grounded the palette in warm neutrals and layered textures that complement rather than compete. Working with the client, she curated favorite pieces from Vesta to amplify the home’s scale and clarity, starting with a pair of Bayonne curved sofas that frame the onyx fireplace in the living room. The primary suite stays calm and collected with a timeless bed featuring subtle bun-foot detailing. The result is a home that feels ready for whatever story its next owners want to tell.
