206 Phipps Plaza
PALM BEACH, FL

Casa De Los Arcos
“A truly special project” is what Vesta designer Brianna Smith says about staging 206 Phipps Plaza, just listed for $39M. Once home of architect John L. Volk and originally designed by Marion Sims Wyeth, this 9,427-square-foot masterpiece offers historical details that are expertly accentuated by Brianna's style.
The green latticework in the foyer—an original feature from the Volk era—is echoed by the choice of green accessories and natural elements, such as the fiddle leaf fig tree that greets you upon entering. The statement green walls in the family room and lounge areas are complemented by pops of gold and cream, allowing the bold hue to take center stage, while Vesta furnishings, including the Nazare Coffee Table’s marble and walnut finishes, ground the space.
Soaring archways in the living room welcome visitors to the outdoor pool garden (the home's name is “Casa De Los Arcos,” or “House of the Arches"). Brianna accompanies this architecture with curved pieces such as the Alta Lounge Chair. Each design selection is made with reverence to the property's legacy while also bringing it to the present day; the result is as elegant as ever.
