Description

Originally built in 1938 for Hollywood actress Virginia Bruce, this 8,000-square-foot gated Pacific Palisades estate, listed for $14.5M, blends old Hollywood charm with modernity. Set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, its manicured lawns, koi ponds, meandering pathways, a pool, spa and firepit feel like a private retreat. Inside, timeless East Coast architecture meets updated sophistication with a Calacatta Gold marble kitchen, formal entertaining spaces, a British pub with its own hidden staircase and a full guest apartment. The primary suite adds a little star power of its own with custom dressing rooms and a private balcony overlooking the gardens.

Vesta Home’s senior designer Ryan Worthington approached the project like a curated gallery, sourcing antique art and accessories to give the home a layered, one-of-a-kind character. Many of the artworks are authentic hand-painted pieces, setting the tone for rooms designed to feel collected rather than staged. In the living room, Ryan carved out multiple seating areas to create interest in all four corners, while rich, deep hues in the bedrooms bring warmth and history forward. With reclaimed woods, antique finds and thoughtful space planning, the home feels lived in, elevated and entirely unique.
