Elysium

SCOTTSDALE, AZ

PRIVATE PARADISE

At 11612 N 86th Street in Scottsdale, Elysium is a $15M state-of-the-art fortress with seven bedrooms, eight baths and 2,100 square feet of sliding smart-glass walls that erase the boundary between indoors and out. Built by Modern Masterpieces with security at its core, the estate layers in compound-grade protection, a pressurized NBC safe room, AI-enabled perimeter monitoring and a pivot entry door with a 13-point locking system. Beyond the tech and protection, the high-end finishes and amenities read like a boutique resort—pool pavilion with dual TVs, below-grade ramada with chef’s kitchen, swim-up bar and even a submerged firepit that flickers across a porcelain deck.

For its Arizona debut, Vesta Home reimagined every space with a material-first approach—plaster, pale oak, Namibian granite—softening scale with warmth and intention. Senior staging designer Lisa Vail leaned into rounded silhouettes and tactile fabrics to balance the estate’s architectural muscle, while tonal furnishings like the low-profile Kennedy Sofa and boucle chairs kept focus on statement stone and light. Outside, the palette flows seamlessly with modular sofas, woven lounge chairs and sculptural pebble tables that feel like desert boulders. Even the bedrooms retreat into sanctuary mode with layered textiles and retracting glass walls, turning Elysium into a home that feels extraordinary for those who love design—and privacy.
