1615 N Blue Jay Way
LOS ANGELES, CA
CITY TO OCEAN VIEWS
Spanning 12,049 square feet, this Bird Streets estate sits along North Blue Jay Way, one of the neighborhood’s most storied hillside addresses. The street was immortalized in Blue Jay Way, the 1967 Beatles song written by George Harrison, when he lived on the street.
Uninterrupted views stretch from the city skyline to the ocean as a stone facade nods to Mediterranean ease, setting the tone for an interior defined by light and space. An atrium-centered layout anchors the home as floor-to-ceiling doors open to layered outdoor living spaces, including a pool terrace with kitchen and dining overlooking it all. The scale is generous, with three lounges, two bars, a library, screening room, gym, two kitchens and a serene primary suite with city-facing views.
Designed by Vesta Home senior creative director Kiel Wuellner alongside senior designer Ethan Edmonds, the interiors strike a clear point of view with a light touch. Working within the home’s existing palette, the team leaned into warm neutrals, layered textures and organic materials to soften the stone and refine the architecture. Weathered woods and woven fibers add contrast while low-slung furniture keeps sightlines open from every window, letting the skyline stay center stage.
