THE ITALIAN VILLA
This two-story Italian villa in the coveted Ponce Davis neighborhood was originally conceived by architect Giorgio Balli. With 7 bedrooms, 8 baths and 9,000+ square feet, it's the details that make it sing—a spiral staircase winding up from the double-height foyer, a lounge painted in emerald with a built-in bar that feels plucked right from the 1970's, and spaces perfect for family dinners and movie nights. Outside, a summer kitchen, basketball court and playground turn the grounds into an oasis.
Vesta creative director Linda Kennedy reimagined the villa’s Old-World character, leaning into calm tones and compelling contrasts. The sleek Kennedy Modular Sofa opposite the villa’s stone wall offsets the architecture’s gravitas, and the round Bogota Coffee Table nods to the home’s sweeping arches. Texture became her tool for adding depth to a neutral palette: bouclé upholstery against smooth stone, ash wood against veined marble, elaborate lighting drawing the eye to the soaring ceilings. Outdoors, she carried this rhythm by placing the dining set to frame views through the arches to the pool.
