This Miami waterfront estate reads as a modern Gothic residence, anchored by a great hall with vaulted ceilings, carved stone columns and stained glass that immediately set a sense of scale and ceremony. The design tempers the drama, using curved white sofas, low seating and a round central table to bring intimacy to the volume and allow the chandeliers, stonework and light filtering through the glass to remain the focal point.
