Wine Country: Inside the Most Beautifully Designed Vine-Front Estates

Wine Country: Inside the Most Beautifully Designed Vine-Front Estates

In Northern California, Wine Country isn’t just a destination—it’s a design language. Each vineyard-rich region is home to architecture as distinctive as their vintages, shaped by climate, craft and context. When the call came to stage these Napa County and Sonoma County properties for sale, Vesta Home’s Northern California  team expertly captured the allure with a compelling design perspective on Wine Country living.

Restaged and Sold: A Healdsburg Estate Reimagined

Some homes just need the right lens. 4030 Old Barn had been on the market for nearly two years with a different agent and stager—until a complete redesign by Vesta shifted everything. After being re-staged, the property sold in just 10 days, with the buyers opting to purchase the furnishings as well.

“The level of staging design and uniqueness is incredible and it definitely will make this property shine way better than it has before. Not only did we have a great turnout (about 100 people) at our Property Showcase event, but we also received an offer last weekend from an agent who came to the party—and the buyers are under contract and want to purchase the furniture. Success all around!” —Tatiana McWilliams, Realtor & Founder, Live Wine Country

At 4030 Old Barn, the landscape doesn’t just surround you—it influences every room. With Mt. St. Helena in the distance and Japanese maples flanking the property, we approached the interiors as a response to the site.

“With views like this, the design had to feel effortless. Every detail was selected to support a lifestyle of quiet luxury—earthy materials, sculptural pieces and a palette that invites you to exhale.” —Jessica Florio, Vesta Designer

The 7,088-square-foot estate sits elevated above the vineyards, its modern organic design balancing exposed stone and timber with softened contemporary furnishings. Natural light plays a starring role, pouring through large windows and across open-beam ceilings.

The main bedroom invites rest without formality. Layered textures—like a boucle-upholstered bed and a velvet bench—transform the suite into a tactile retreat, while open bookshelves styled with ceramics, books and keepsakes lend a personal touch. The result is a space that feels cozy and fully connected to its setting.

Stepping outside feels nothing short of cinematic. Meandering paths lead to a 25-yard lap pool, bocce court and multiple dining areas—all positioned to take in the vineyard views. Vesta’s walnut-toned Lastovo dining chairs were placed throughout to frame key moments for gathering, each one offering a front-row seat to the landscape.

Staged by Vesta Home and sold swiftly after for $6,945M, 4030 Old Barn speaks to the impact of intentional design. By highlighting the home’s natural beauty and evoking a distinct sense of lifestyle, the staging allowed buyers to envision themselves there—and in this case, the buyer purchased the furnishings too, moving right into the home they fell in love with.

How Staging and Setting Led to a $12.5M Sale in St. Helena

This newly built 5,792-square-foot home in St. Helena blends rustic character with sleek modernism to define the new Napa Valley aesthetic. Designed by Joseph Farrell and Bette Abbott, with landscape by Christian Barrett and construction by Vine Home, 777 Pratt is a masterclass in contemporary Wine Country living.

With an eye for flow and feeling, Vesta designer Morgan Gamecho brought warmth to the interiors through textured finishes: linen sofas, slatted wood details and sculptural lighting softened the architecture’s sleek lines.

In the great room, 16-foot ceilings and glass stackable doors frame vineyard views and blur the line between inside and out. Floating pendant lights above the dining table make a bold statement, complemented by natural materials found throughout the furnishings—wood, metal, linen and marble. The living area is centered on Vesta’s Bowery Coffee Table; its slatted walnut surface adds organic texture while maintaining a low, modern profile.

Outdoors, the design evokes a boutique resort feel, making it easy to soak in the views or unwind by the pool. Lounge areas were staged throughout, including vignettes created with Vesta’s James Outdoor Chairs in matte black rattan with linen-upholstered cushions, paired with rustic wooden side tables.

From the loggias and pool to the spa-inspired suite, every space was styled with livability and luxury in mind. Staged by Vesta and purchased for $12.5M, 777 Pratt is a study in how staged interiors can turn a house into a lifestyle buyers are eager to step into.

Napa Valley’s New Take on the Modern Farmhouse

Tucked into a pocket of Napa Valley, 2350 Big Ranch Road spans 7,751 square feet across 2.3 acres of vineyard-framed land. With cathedral-height wood ceilings, steel chandeliers and clean architectural lines, the home reads like a farmhouse reimagined for today—one that bridges the ease of country living with contemporary design.

Just minutes from downtown Napa, yet a world away in feel, the property captures the essence of modern Wine Country: expansive, private and built for entertaining. Listed at $16,85M, the home comes with the option to purchase the full suite of furnishings—each piece selected by Vesta to complement the space.

Vesta designers Laurissa Chambers and Arielle De Leon, alongside our Northern California Creative Director Taylor Sassa, took cues from the home’s scale and setting.

“This home is absolutely stunning—surrounded by lush vineyards, it feels expansive. With nearly 20-foot ceilings in the great room, scale was essential. We paired two Darmstadt dining tables with my favorite Zephal chairs in Diamond 402 fabric and anchored the seating with our three-piece Capri curved marble coffee table. It’s my favorite room in the house—it brings together the kitchen, dining, bar and wine cellar with seamless indoor-outdoor flow.” Laurissa Chambers, Vesta Designer

“With such soaring ceilings, we wanted bold, rich colors to ground the home. We used a mix of natural wood and greenery throughout to soften the space and bring the outside in.” Taylor Sassa, Creative Director, Vesta Northern California

Outdoors, covered seating areas provide comfort year-round, while Vesta’s Jove outdoor sofas sit low against the landscape, letting the view take center stage. Positioned across from the pool loungers, they offer a place to settle in with a glass of wine and watch the light shift across the vines—a subtle luxury that defines life in this part of the Valley.
