Vesta Home, the country’s leading luxury design and home staging company, has made its debut in the Washington, D.C. market with a breathtaking $23.5M estate on Chain Bridge Road NW. Perched on the historic site of the renowned Cafritz Mansion, this newly built nearly 13,000-square-foot property is listed by The HEIDER Company / TTR Sotheby’s International Realty.
A collaboration between Jones Boer Architects, The Banks Development Company, and Arentz Landscape Architects, 3030 Chain Bridge is a masterful reinterpretation of 18th-century English architecture. Vesta’s staging design highlights the estate’s handcrafted details and seamlessly integrates luxurious furnishings to create a warm, livable environment tailored to the modern buyer.
Bringing Luxury to Life
“Staging truly brings a home to life,” says Vesta designer Seth McCaughey. “It's about creating a feeling, so a client can envision it as a future home the first moment they step through the door.”
With the estate’s grand proportions and classic architecture as a backdrop, Seth curated a sophisticated interior design that balances symmetry with contrast. Over 200 carefully selected pieces of furniture and art were chosen to harmonize with the space, layering modern organic forms, rich textures and elegant finishes.
The transformation of 3030 Chain Bridge took just two weeks, reflecting Vesta’s expertise in executing high-level designs with precision and efficiency. From custom furnishings to artful decor, every element was selected to complement the home’s stately character while appealing to today’s luxury buyers.
Inspired by Architectural Grandeur
Entering the home, you’re greeted with a sweeping gold-chrome handrail curving elegantly down the grand staircase. This striking architectural feature inspired the use of gold-chrome accents throughout the home, subtly woven into furniture finishes and decor to bring cohesion and warmth to the expansive interiors.
In the kitchen, our favorite Beverly Blvd counter stools steal the show. Their brushed brass-plated stainless steel frame and ivory fabric seat add an understated yet glamorous touch, echoing the metallic details found in the statement light fixture and the textured brass kitchen hood.
3030 Chain Bridge’s home design is truly grand, and we wanted the outdoor spaces to mirror that sense of scale. Seth chose our Hamptons outdoor sofa and chair set to create a refined atmosphere, with neutral canvas fabric and a matte black iron frame providing a timeless contrast. The result is an outdoor area that complements the luxurious feel of the interiors, offering the ultimate space for entertaining.
The Ultimate Retreat: Inside the Primary Suite
Designed as a sanctuary, the grand main bedroom at 3030 Chain Bridge is a study in understated luxury. At the foot of the bed, the Isla Bench adds an inviting touch with its plush boucle fabric and gracefully curved silhouette.
A cozy lounge area is anchored by the Abruzzo Nesting Coffee Tables, where a sleek white marble top meets walnut veneer legs, blending geometric modernism with organic warmth. This intimate seating arrangement invites quiet moments of relaxation, while an expert mix of textures, materials and a serene palette—creamy neutrals, rich walnut woods, marble details, gold chrome accents—ties the space together.
