Discover Spaces by Design Style: From Coastal Contemporary to Organic Modern

At Vesta, every home begins with a story—shaped by its architecture, its setting and the people who will one day live there. We don’t impose a single style across properties. Instead, we approach each space with fresh eyes, designing for what the home calls for—whether that’s something sleek and sculptural or soft and coastal.

It’s why our portfolio spans building types, styles, cities and moods, and why we’ve made it easier than ever to explore that range. On our website, you can now filter by design style to see how we’ve interpreted each look.

Below, we’re spotlighting a few standout projects from across the country, along with the Vesta designers behind them, sharing what defined each aesthetic and how they brought it to life.

Coastal

795 Lakeview Drive, Miami Beach

795 Lakeview Vesta“795 Lakeview Drive just radiated coastal energy—you can’t beat the feeling of splashing in a pool while looking out to the bay (don’t worry, I didn’t swim!). We leaned into a natural palette of whites, ivory, and soft contrast with darker tones, layering in organic materials like wood and stone to enhance the relaxed vibe. One of my favorite pieces was the outdoor sofa—its woven white frame and slender legs gave it a light, tropical feel, almost like it belonged outdoors. Miami Beach interiors often blur the line between inside and out, and this home was no exception with its open floor plan and expansive windows. We also played with subtle Art Deco references—seen in the geometric accents on consoles and chairs—as a nod to Ocean Drive. The goal was to strike that balance of sophisticated luxury and laid-back coastal ease.” - Linda Kennedy, Florida Creative Director

1705 Carla Ridge Road, Beverly Hills

1705 Carla Ridge Vesta“Carla Ridge has an earthy neutral scheme with an edginess from the original architecture. The staging incorporated similar shapes, angles and colorations for a seamless flow throughout the home with restraint in color and natural organic elements to lend warmth and a casual feel. The home could have easily gone minimalist contemporary, but adding these unexpected touches make memorable moments for prospective buyers.” - Kiel Wuellner, Southern California Senior Creative Director

1705 Carla Ridge VestaTransitional

1288 Rose Lane, San Francisco Bay Area

1288 Rose Lane Vesta"Rose Lane felt inherently transitional from the start; the home’s traditional finishes inspired much of the design direction. We wanted to honor those classic architectural details, like the dark wood floors and detailed molding, while creating a warm, welcoming space that felt current. To soften the formality, we layered in curved silhouettes—like the living room sofas, the bench in the family room and the primary suite sitting area. Wallpaper added another layer of richness, which we echoed through textured fabrics and key pieces. The overall goal was to present a space that feels like Old-World-meets-new: timeless, tactile and inviting." - Taylor Sassa, Northern California Creative Director

Eclectic

14148 Rustic Lane, Pacific Palisades

14148 Rustic Lane Vesta“For Rustic Lane, my goal was to fuse the modern design style with soft, contemporary elements. Clean lines, warm colors, natural materials and layers of softness informed the design to harmoniously create an inviting and serene living environment. The goal was also to create spaces that framed the client's museum-worthy art collection without detracting from it.” - Ethan Edmonds, Southern California Designer

14148 Rustic Lane VestaJapandi:

28 March Drive, Mill Valley

28 Marsh Drive Vesta“Marsh Drive blends the warm minimalism of Japandi design with intentional, nature-inspired living. We chose pieces like the sculptural oak pedestal dining table and Vesta’s low-profile, textured woven Kennedy sectional to emphasize natural materials, craftsmanship and clean lines. Each element was selected to create a sense of quiet harmony while staying deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.” - Carla Mendoza, Northern California Senior Designer

28 Marsh Drive VestaTraditional:

40 West 83rd Street, New York City

“My approach to traditional design is taking what was once there and invoking a new atmosphere of life and purpose while keeping the home true to its heritage. There was this magical feeling of walking into a Parisian townhouse that I just knew was going to be exciting to stage. The challenge and thrill was making this space authentic to its structure all while meticulously selecting staple Vesta pieces such as our bespoke Alpine Lounge Chair, Dolomites Coffee & Side table, and Kemplet Antique Wall Mirrors which tend to lean more modern, but in this space complemented the bones of the home.” - Seth McCaughey, New York Senior Designer

Contemporary

Central Park Tower Penthouse, New York City

Central Park Tower Vesta“Central Park Tower's interiors are a harmonious blend of natural materials, clean lines and refined minimalism. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking, panoramic views of the city, which inspired a selection of furnishings that complement the space and enhance its surroundings without overwhelming them. Every room in this ultra-luxury duplex has been thoughtfully curated, featuring striking chandeliers, bespoke wall finishes and elegant drapery, all of which work cohesively to elevate the overall aesthetic.” - Sara McCarthy, New York Senior Designer
